Paul started playing football with Campsie Black Watch, then moved to Clyde. He stayed there for 3 years until a broken ankle nearly forced him to retire. Next Paul moved to Hong Kong to play for HAPPY Valley. He came back home after a season and had spells with East Fife in the 1st division. Stranraer the same. Then he found my way to Berwick before going to Airdrie. Paul stayed here for 3 seasons before moving to Dumbarton where he enjoyed 2 years. He also started his coaching career as a player coach at Dumbarton. The last move has been to Queens' as 'I wanted to help out here and play a bit for Billy Stark'.
Coaching History
Started at Clyde when Billy Reid was head of youth. Worked here with the young kid's aged 7 and built this into a Team for 7 a-side then into 11s. Had this group of boys right through till under 15s although both coaches and players had moved to Hamilton with the exodus that went on at Clyde. With the coaching it has allowed me to gain a number of qualifications from B License Diploma and up the Level 4 Youth Award, looking at progressing with the qualification when I finally stop trying to play.
Favourite Football Moment:Not good for Queens but I scored an Overhead kick at Hampden from 20yards out with Clyde away back in the early 90s, this has been voted for years as the best ever Clyde Goal, also won League with this side which was a memorable occasion.
