Queen's took the opportunity to take on Busby U12's at Lesser Hampden and put in a very strong performance.
The squad where asked to get the ball down and play football from the back and more importantly to go out and show the coaches that they had the hunger and commitment to go and compete in a game that they where expected to win.
Queen's did exactly that and at times played some lovely attacking football, with everyone playing to their capabilities and all fully justified the coaches belief in them.
It has to be said however that we lost our shape a bit in the second half but it gives the coaches something to bring into future training sessions for the kids but all in all, a pleasing performance all round
A quick word on Busby. It was their 1st game playing 11 a side and full credit to their team, they kept on plugging away and conducted themselves in a manner which did their club proud.
