The 14s traveled to East Whitburn for today's early kick off against Cowdenbeath.
The 'Beath players started strongly taking a two goal advantage into the second period.
During the interval attitude, commitment and a belief in continuing to play patient, passing football was asked of the players and to their credit this was what they achieved.
Through great resilience as a team the boys where able to combat the tough weather conditions by putting the ball in the back off the net.
The belief in continuing to get the ball down and replicate passages of play from the training ground paid off with Queen's setting the tempo late on converting some fine team moves along with a stunning left footed drive from Kieran Caldwell into the top corner capping off a strong disciplined team performance.
Coach Murray Crouch commented after the game 'A tough test today. It was pleasing to see the boys being able to transfer work done on the good surfaces during training onto more testing surfaces such as today.
This is testament to their ability as individuals and also the hard work done as a team. Also a big thanks to Dennis for his work from the side of the park and for driving us on to success today'.
