Queen's Park welcomed Elgin City to Lesser Hampden for their YDI League match. The kick-off was 1:30pm. The Queen's coaches were looking for the squad to improve on recent performances.
The 13s started well and were soon ahead with a well weighted pass by Kyle Rafferty to find Aiden Connolly to cross for Raymond Lynch to head home.
Aiden then turned from provider to goal scorer as he skipped by Elgin defender to powerfully strike into the net via the underside of the bar.
Kyle and Aiden linked up well again as Kyle showed good vision to play a penetrating pass for Aiden to run onto and side step their keeper to coolly finish.
Connor McGuiness added a couple one via the penalty spot and Raymond added to his tally.
Queen's coaches commented "Our passing was good today especially from midfield into the final third. In addition we created many chances and we took them with good finishing from Aiden, Raymond and Connor. Well done".
