Queen's Park 16s travelled to Arbroath for their first away game of the League. They were hoping to build on their solid start to the season.
In a great start Queen's found themselves in front with a Chris Gebbie header and a wonderful run from Kyle McLachlan who slotted into the corner after breaking from midfield. Arbroath fought their way back into the game as the half progressed.
A change in personnel at half time brought about a lift in the tempo of the game.
Queen's had the upper hand and took advantage of their domination. A through ball found striker Kyle McBeth who rounded the Arbroath goalkeeper and finished from a very tight angle. Chris Gebbie found the net shortly after.
Arbroath pulled another goal back and this spurred the 16s to up their game and take control of the match. Queen's finished the game strongly scoring two more goals.
Coach Mark McCarney commented 'A very pleasing performance in our first away game of the League'.
